Our Market

At the heart of DeVitis & Sons lies our bustling deli counter. We serve hot lunches daily, featuring our renowned homemade sandwiches and convenient "heat and eat" options like spaghetti and meatballs, cavatelli, fettuccine alfredo, lasagna, and meatballs – all crafted right here in our store.

Beyond our in-store offerings, we've experienced significant growth in our wholesale business. DeVitis products, including our celebrated sandwiches and salads, are now enjoyed in over 100 locations throughout the region, from local grocery stores and convenience marts to popular concession stands.

​

As a family-owned and operated business, we employ approximately 50 dedicated team members. The holiday season, particularly Christmas, brings a festive energy to the store as our team diligently prepares an extensive array of catering dishes for holiday gatherings. We proudly process over 500 orders during this time, ensuring each dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented.

Pasta Sauces

Our Family Favorite Recipes are Ready for You to Take Home.

DeVitis Sauces are made with the same integrity and ingredients as Old World Italian kitchens, unlike other pasta sauces which are made with dried vegetables, concentrated tomatoes, and hydrogenated oil. We offer six varieties of Pasta Sauces, our original Pasta Sauce, Marinara Sauce, Four Cheese Sauce, Meat Sauce & Zio Vincenzo’s Sugo Fresco.

Paste vs Puree

Our Pasta and Four Cheese Sauces are made with tomato puree, resulting in a fresher tasting product. Puree is cooked for a shorter time before packaging, conserving the true, fresh taste of the tomatoes. Many competitors use tomato paste made from concentrated tomatoes. Tomato paste is made by cooking the water and other nutrients out of the fruit, sacrificing freshness, flavor and purity.

 

All Natural, Fresh Ingredients

All of our sauces are made with 100% All Natural Ingredients. Our Marinara Sauce is made with strips of peeled tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, fresh celery, fresh onion and a blend of fresh herbs. Zio Vincenzo’s Sugo Fresco (Uncle Vinny’s Fresh Sauce) is made with San Marzano tomatoes, imported from Italy. It is our premier pasta sauce and includes fresh onions, fresh garlic, and fresh herbs.
